Bukit Kepong Reconstruction

• This project is to reconstruct the Bukit Kepong Police Station in using virtual application and to preserve the building so that the future generation can appreciate the great history thats lies behind it.

• The application consist of real environment and real situation at that point of time.

• Virtual application including 3d environment, walkthrough, navigation and interaction

• Target audience - Young Generation that has the interest in experiencing the Bukit Kepong history, student that studied history and the one who like to see the old interior and exterior of old generation building of Police Station

• Goal

1. To reconstruct the building in the virtual application which reach to realism of the original one
2. To give the user immersion when they navigate and interact with the objects
3. To provided them with enough info and to help them to get the real picture situation that happens back then

• Objective

1. To rebuild the environment of Bukit Kepong before it was burn down by the communist by modeling it in 3d world
2. To preserve the great history of Bukit Kepong so it will not be forgettable from the young generation so that they will appreciate the sacrifice of the country warrior and to get the meaning to be patriotic through the pop – up menu (info)
3. To give the user feel the immersion through realistic modeling and visualization as well as the audio effect.
